Better together
Fox’s Burton’s Companies
As Fox’s Burton’s Companies, we combine the best of both worlds.
About Burton’s
The Burton’s story is a simple one, it’s about
Great British Brands and Great British Biscuits
that have been lovingly baked in the UK since
1935. Our history can be traced back to George
Burton (born in 1829) who began baking
biscuits in Leek, Staffordshire in the mid 1800’s.
We are proud to own some of the UK’s best
loved biscuit brands. Whether it be the cheeky
Jammie Dodger, the choc chip filled Maryland
Cookie or the great big Wagon Wheel, we have
a brand that will bring a smile to every face.
We are the second largest
biscuit manufacturer in the UK,
baking our incredible biscuits
across the country.

About Fox’s
Our story began with brandy snaps. In 1853
Michael Spedding baked his very first batch
and within a few years he was selling to shows,
shops, and traders from his Batley bakery. After
Michael’s son-in-law, Fred Ellis Fox, took over
in 1897, he renamed it F E Fox & Co – and that’s
where we get our name.
Over the past 160 years we’ve branched out
from brandy snaps. From our simply delicious
Crinkle Crunch to our decadent Chocolatey
Rounds, we strive to lovingly bake biscuits that
are better than any other.
