This stunning golf course is nestled in a valley facing the<br />
iconic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which stands at 5,596<br />
metres in the Yunnan Province of China.<br />
Created by famous golf course architects Robin Nelson<br />
and Neil Hawthorn, this 18-hole par 72 golf course was<br />
launched in 2001 and is the longest regulation golf course<br />
in the world, spanning 7.8 kilometres from the pro tees.<br />
Located at an altitude of over 3,000 metres, this golf<br />
course is not only the highest in China, but also the second<br />
highest in the world after La Paz, Bolivia, which sits at<br />
3,342 metres.
