“Select caching stream” The selected video stream is used for recording the pre- and post-alarm video data<br />

(see “Application” section).<br />

“Flip” Rotates the video horizontally. Select this option if the camera has been installed upside down.<br />

“Mirror” Rotates the video vertically.<br />

“Overlay title and time stamp on video and snapshot” You can use this option to display the title and time<br />

stamp directly in the video image and snapshots. The input for “Video title” is used here.<br />

9.1 Image Settings<br />

Select the flip and mirror options if the camera is installed on the ceiling.<br />

“Brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness”<br />

Adjust the values according to your lighting<br />

conditions.<br />

If the lighting conditions for the camera change, image settings for bad lighting conditions may<br />

compromise the image quality of videos with good lighting conditions.<br />

To view the changed settings for the image, click “Preview”. To save the picture parameters, click “Save”.<br />

To discard your changes, click “Restore”.<br />

9.2 Privacy masking zones<br />

This function allows you to hide areas<br />

in the video image. You can select 5<br />

areas of any size.<br />

Enable this function by selecting the<br />

“Enable privacy mask” option.<br />

Click “New” to create a new window;<br />

you can then adjust the size. Click<br />

“Save”, to apply the changes.<br />

This function should not be enabled if the PTZ/ePTZ function of the camera is being used.<br />

This function can only be configured if MS Internet Explorer is used as a browser (ActiveX mode).
