Family Sunday: Curiosity,
Creativity & Community Building
AGGV’s new Family Sunday Coordinator,
illustrator, designer,
and art educator, Apr il Caverhill,
has been working with a range of
artists to bring engaging online
content to our Family Sunday
community. “Knowing our virtual
format makes Family Sunday
accessible to an even wider
audience than our in-person
gatherings is an unexpected side
benefit of our digital iteration”.
Since October, our guests
have included guerilla gardeners,
opera singers, improv artists,
and eco-warriors. All of these dynamic guests have given us entertaining
insight into what they do, while offering up delightful interactive activities
for our viewers. Our line-up of Family Sunday guests for the next several
months is equally exciting, so please check out our website for upcoming
video releases every third Sunday of the month (October-June): aggv.ca/
events.
Of course, we’re all looking forward to when that time comes to gather
in the Gallery once again for some fabulous hands-on family fun! We wish
you all a new season filled with hope and artistic abundance.
In response to COVID-19, the AGGV has introduced a new way for families
to explore the AGGV collection: Meetups. Don't miss Parent and Tot,
every third Thursday of the month from 10am-10:45am. Adults $2.50, children
