HOW TO APPLY<br />

When the application is open, go to this link and search for “Intern”<br />

https://jobs.nt.gov.au/Home/Search<br />

What you need to have ready prior to commencing the application:<br />

Have the names and contact details of three referees (including email address)<br />

who are able to provide a workplace assessment in a timely manner to<br />

support your application<br />

Have your Medical Intern Placement Number (MIPN), student number,<br />

passport number and details, visa status and expiry date where applicable<br />

Names of the last secondary school and university you attended and year of<br />

graduation<br />

If you are a NT Scholarship holder you will need your most recent course<br />

receipt to be attached to your CV<br />

If you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander you will need to complete<br />

the Statutory Declaration provided in the link on the application and attach it<br />

to your CV<br />

NT RURAL TRAINING<br />

There are no dedicated rural internship programs in the Northern Territory,<br />

however the Northern Territory has a strong focus on generalism in their training<br />

programs, with the opportunity for interns to explore careers in rural and remote<br />

settings. <strong>Internship</strong>s are available at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Alice Springs<br />

Hospital.<br />
