Hospital, Hornsby), Intensive Care,<br />

Palliative Care are also available.<br />

We have the ability to rotate some of<br />

our PGY2s to larger facilities for<br />

subspecialty rotation, with the main<br />

facilities being St Vincent’s, Westmead,<br />

Concord and RNS.<br />

BASIC INFORMATION<br />

The Royal North Shore and Ryde Health and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Health Service<br />

(HKHS), incorporating Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital and six community health<br />

centres, provides care to a community stretching from the Hawkesbury River to<br />

Lindfield. This is east to St Ives and west to Pennant Hills, Cherrybrook and Epping.<br />

The Resident Support Unit has developed a new and innovative orientation<br />

program and ongoing education to support all resident doctors to enhance their<br />

individual skills and further their career development goals.
