NSW RURAL TRAINING<br />

RURAL PREFERENTIAL RECRUITMENT<br />

(RPR) PATHWAY<br />

The RPR is a merit-based recruitment process that allocates medical graduates to<br />

internship positions in rural NSW. As you will see in the number of predicted<br />

internships section, rural hospitals will have allocated positions for RPR pathway<br />

applicants. These positions are offered prior to positions in regional or<br />

metropolitan areas as it is a preferential pathway.<br />

All medical graduates are eligible to apply. Applications open Monday 8th May<br />

<strong>2023</strong> and close Thursday 8th June <strong>2023</strong>. Rural hospitals will review applicants and<br />

contact those they wish to interview. Interviews will be held between Monday 19th<br />

June <strong>2023</strong> to Thursday 29 June <strong>2023</strong>.<br />
