The 2023 edition of the AMSA Internship Guide is now available to read! This is the AMSA guide for the 2024 clinical year. This guide could not have been possible without the contribution of medical students, hospital management teams, interns, AMA and many other people volunteering their time to update the information. For example, we have added eight new health networks across all states and territories to the internship guide. Good luck to the class of 2023! <strong>Internship</strong> year is counted as 1 year work experience which gives extra points<br />

Requirements<br />
482/485 VISA<br />
You are exempt from proving your English requirements if you:<br />
(a) Hold a passport from a recognised country (Australia, Canada, New<br />
Zealand, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, United States of America);<br />
or<br />
(b) Have completed at least 5 years of full-time study in at least a secondary<br />
level institution and where most classes were in English.<br />
Alternatively, you will need to obtain an acceptable grade within 3 years of the<br />
visa application in an English language test, AHPRA registration requires the<br />
test to be conducted within 2 year.<br />
