3. Education, support and training<br />

We are committed to providing the necessary educational and training<br />

resources to help you achieve your career goals. Our hospital offers education,<br />

mentorship, and observerships to ensure you join the training program that is<br />

right for you. We provide CORE clubs for Medicine, Surgery, General Practice,<br />

Critical Care (ICU, Anaesthetics, ED), and Specialties (from Pathology to Public<br />

Health and beyond). Additionally, we offer support for learning on (and from)<br />

the job and training in a high-fidelity Simulation Centre.<br />

4.Research opportunities<br />

If you are interested in pursuing research, we have a Department of Research<br />

that links with all universities and research institutes, providing training in<br />

research methods, statistical support, grants, and awards, and regular research<br />

symposia. With thousands of active basic and clinical researchers on site, you<br />

will have access to abundant research opportunities.<br />

5. Focus on the wellbeing of all staff<br />

At SCGOPHCG, we understand the increasing demands of patient care and the<br />

potential for burnout in staff members. That's why the wellbeing of all staff is a<br />

top priority. Our executives advocate for support for wellbeing, and all new staff<br />

members are oriented to maximise their potential from workplace reform to<br />

education sessions. For senior staff members, the Clinical Association and for<br />

junior staff members, the Charlies RMO Society, play important advocacy and<br />

social roles.<br />
