The 2023 edition of the AMSA Internship Guide is now available to read! This is the AMSA guide for the 2024 clinical year. This guide could not have been possible without the contribution of medical students, hospital management teams, interns, AMA and many other people volunteering their time to update the information. For example, we have added eight new health networks across all states and territories to the internship guide. Good luck to the class of 2023! BASIC INFORMATION<br />
The GRIT Program is coordinated by Latrobe Regional Hospital which has a 257<br />
bed regional referral centre for Gippsland.<br />
REASONS TO APPLY<br />

Single subsidised accommodation is available for the entire internship<br />
There is an active education program. Education consists of bedside tuition,<br />
weekly lunchtime lectures, discussion groups and grand rounds conducted by<br />
both visiting and salaried medical staff and routine clinical meetings open to all<br />
practitioners in the district<br />
