This guide could not have been possible without the contribution of medical students, hospital management teams, interns, AMA and many other people volunteering their time to update the information. For example, we have added eight new health networks across all states and territories to the internship guide. Good luck to the class of 2023! We hope that the information within this guide can be beneficial for you during your internship applications. This guide could not have been possible without the contribution of medical students, hospital management teams, interns, AMA and many other people volunteering their time to update the information. For example, we have added eight new health networks across all states and territories to the internship guide.

VRPA PRIORITY GROUP 1<br />

Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens<br />

graduating from Victorian medical schools including CSP and domestic full<br />

fee-paying students (graduates of University of Melbourne, Monash University,<br />

Deakin University and University of Notre Dame: Melbourne & Ballarat Clinical<br />

Schools).<br />

VRPA PRIORITY GROUP 2<br />

Australian temporary residents graduating from Victorian medical schools<br />

(graduates of University of Melbourne, Monash University, Deakin University<br />

and University of Notre Dame: Melbourne & Ballarat Clinical Schools).<br />

Australian permanent resident graduates of interstate universities who meet<br />

the following criteria<br />

Completed their Year 12 schooling in Victoria; OR<br />

Previously lived in rural Victoria (Modified Monash Model (MMM)– MM2<br />

classification or higher) and worked in a rural healthcare setting; OR<br />

Graduates of the University of New South Wales who have undertaken<br />

their last two years of clinical placement at Albury Wodonga Health clinical<br />

school<br />

PRIORITY GROUP 1<br />

Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens<br />

graduating from Victorian medical schools including CSP and domestic full<br />

fee paying students (i.e. graduates of University of Melbourne, Monash<br />

University, Deakin University and University of Notre Dame: Melbourne &<br />

Ballarat Clinical Schools)<br />

PRIORITY GROUP 2<br />

Australian temporary resident graduates of Victorian medical schools<br />

Interstate Special Consideration<br />

PRIORITY GROUP 3<br />

Australian citizens or permanent residents and New Zealand citizens<br />

graduating from an interstate or New Zealand medical school;<br />

Australian temporary resident graduates of interstate universities;<br />

New Zealand temporary resident graduates of New Zealand universities;<br />

Graduates from an overseas campus of an Australian/New Zealand University<br />

accredited by the Australian Medical Council (i.e. Monash University, Malaysia<br />

or Ochsner)
