BASIC INFORMATION<br />

Caboolture Hospital is a part of Australia’s largest and most diverse health service<br />

delivering the best care via the best health care professionals. The hospital is a 265-<br />

bed facility and is 45 minutes drive from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. It's<br />

located in an area growing both in demographics and infrastructure. Caboolture<br />

Hospital provides training opportunities for doctors pursuing generalist or specialist<br />

career pathways. Caboolture’s size as an accredited training facility places it in<br />

perfect stead to build your clinical competence and assist your professional<br />

advancement through the diverse range of clinical exposure and hands on<br />

experience you will gain in our friendly and supportive environment. Caboolture<br />

Hospital is undergoing a major expansion and redevelopment, which by mid-<strong>2023</strong><br />

will deliver a new Clinical Services Building, including 130 additional beds,<br />

permitting the expansion of health services provided to our growing community.<br />

EDUCATION SUPPORT<br />

Caboolture Hospital has a very supportive and encouraging Medical Education<br />

Unit (MEU). The team are always available and willing to provide advocacy and<br />

support. The MEU actively promotes its open-door policy. We provide support<br />

specific to your needs, be it in relation to a personal or professional matter. In<br />

addition, we meet with you on a regular basis to ensure your training program<br />

is progressing satisfactorily
