The project draws upon the inspirations andthe heritage of the Western Hills, which presents anew definition of a contemporary Chinese metropolis.The two elements that are essential to the VitruvianPrimitive Hut, are known as the origin of houses. arehearth and shelter. Walking around the hearth beneath theshelter is a daily ritual in life. The same ritual existsalso exists in religious architecture, where there is asacred path surrounding subjects for worship. Faith andritual are crucial to a house. Similar to the origin ofthe house, the project draws upon the religious atmospherein a house and develops a revolving circulation logicaccordingly to the connections of the program. The projectallows the visitor to experience the Western Hills in anew way that the landscape evolves around architectureendlessly, which reassembles the incarnation in life.97

The project draws upon the inspirations and
