Single origin Dominican Arabica Coffee is a specialty coffee of Dominican origin, 100%<br />
Arabica Coffee. This coffee is the original descendant of the same coffee variety brought<br />
to the <strong>Caribbean</strong> in 1723 by a young naval officer Gabriel de Clieu. Clieu obtained a<br />
coffee plant he was presented by King Louis XIV of France for cultivation in the New<br />
World. After many hardships Gabriel managed to transport the small coffee plans to<br />
Martinique safely for reproduction. From there the precious coffee sprouts were taken to<br />
the Island of La Hispaniola, now the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
