WACKO
5’11
19 - 2 1/2
31.0L
The Wacko can
be a one-board
quiver. It’s good for
wedging, slabbing
waves and is also
a great follow-on
as a better wave
step-up board for
those who ride a
wider, high-volume
shortboard or fish
design. I also ride
mine as a lazy
winter paddler in
small waves.
NAPALM
6’4
19 - 2 1/2
32.5L
The Napalm loves
being surfed hard
and fast and is my
personal favourite
for overhead waves.
What surfers have
enjoyed with this
board is the free
and forgiving feeling
combined with the
ability to really put
the board on rail and
push as hard as you
want with no need
to hold back. This
board has no limits.
DESERT
STORM
7’6
19 3/4 - 3 1/8
48.5L
The Desert Storm is
making a significant
impact on big wave
gun design as a
proven performer
in many locations.
The Desert Storm is
the next level gun
where volume is
the key between
missing and
catching the
biggest wave of
your life.
Webster Surfboards has become world
renowned for innovative, trustworthy
and versatile designs. We understand
that all of the variables involved in the
shaping of a surfboard are dependent
on the surfer, the waves they ride and
their surfing style.
The correct volume for any surfboard
will simply provide a surfer with the
best opportunity to enjoy their surfing!
The first consideration is the surfer
– specifically, their size, height,
weight and their surfing style and
technique. Webster Surfboards
considers a surfer’s quiver in any initial
design consult and relevant width
considerations given across the quiver
will help the transition between boards!
The next considerations are the speed,
power and size of the waves the surfer
intends to ride. The final consideration
is how the surfer approaches waves.
The more demanding and critical the
manoeuvres a surfer wants to perform,
the less tolerance there is in varying
from correct volume.
A board with correct volume that is
well foiled and distributed will paddle
and catch waves well, create and
sustain planning speed, and most
importantly, engage rails with sufficient
rail volume to accelerate out of turns.
Correct volume offers a surfer
optimum performance in every section
of a wave – which is why this process
is so important to Webster surfboards,
because quality and satisfaction is
what our boards are all about.
