Garamond

1

This typeface was inspired by the punch cuts made

in the 16th century by Claude Garamond. Some

interesting characteristics include the small eye of the

lowercase e and a, and the leg of the letter R extends

further than the eye. This font is often considered clean

and elegant.

2

Rockwell

Rockwell is a very distinctive type of a geometric

slab serif design. It was created by a man named

Frank Hinman Pierpont in 1934. He oversaw the

in-house studio of the Monotype foundry. Some special

differences include differences in spacing, letter weight

and glyph formation.

Neue Haas

Grotesk

by Max Miedinger. The font was an immidiate success.

Later it became known as Helvetica to the public, with

some subtle changes.

Mrs. Eaves

Zuzana Licko designed Mrs. Eaves in 1996, her first

attempt at a traditional typeface design, and it was

modeled after the Baskerville typeface made in 1757.

The spacing is generally too loose for large paragraphs,

so the type is better suited for short lines and titles.

This font is a common choice for book covers.

Kabel

Koch, a German Designer, for the Klingspor foundry

in Germany. It was named after and in honor of a

transatlantic telephone cable that was completed in

1926. Geometric typefaces were a design trend in

Germany at the time. The NBC News logo uses this

well known font.

by his foundry tyPoland with support from Google.

Lato is polish for summer. It is the third most saved

font on Google fonts. The typeface is available in nine

different weights, ranging from hairline to black, with

italic options available as well.
