Nuvance Health and University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine Annual Report 2022
Liana Galimova, MD My Global Health Elective Experience in India Some of the warmest memories are from a joint birthday celebration for me and another global health participant. The celebration started with members of administration, the research center staff, and neighbors coming to the hostel with balloons. In line with local tradition, they smeared cake on my face. In the afternoon, we continued celebrating at the research center, together with the administration. We listened to live music and had a small feast in the balloondecorated office. I was happy to share the day with such a friendly company, which was like a family for me. It was nice that all the professors and residents joined the celebration. THAILAND Dr. Scholand during his recent short visit to Thailand had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Prachyapan Petchuay (Dr. Menn) During dinner at Dr. Gaidhane’s house.
