(if pretty dim) picture of this
misunderstood country. Although
Colombia certainly has a chequered past,
it’s not a dangerous place to visit and is
ideal for a family holiday. There’s top
notch healthcare, the crime rates
in the cities are low, and you can
comfortably travel alone if you want.
So, what makes for the ideal
Colombian holiday, then? You could
fly into Bogota to check out the gold
museum, trek into the Amazon rainforest,
head to the highlands to see where the
amazing coffee is grown, or relax
on the beach in Cartagena.
