Further details, and to book, see www.blackcountrychamber ofcommerce.co.uk/events Exclusive networking opportunities at the Black Country Business Club Exclusive closed networking club for businesses across the region The Black Country Business Club provides a platform where individuals can build business relationships and promote their products and services within a friendly and supportive environment. The event is live, face-to-face and meets every fortnight on a Thursday morning from 9.30am until 11.30am. Chamber members and non-members are welcome to come along and visit to see how everything works before committing to the Club. There is an additional annual cost to be part of the Business Club network. At each meeting, one delegate has the opportunity to co-host and use a 10-minute slot to promote their business, while every other delegate gets the opportunity to provide a short 60-second pitch, to share their latest news or highlight a key product/ service. Rules of Engagement! Members of the club agree to the following principles: • Only two businesses per sector/ industry will be allowed to join • There will be a maximum of 50 members • Membership is on a first-come, first-served basis with a final decision on a membership application made by the Black Country Chamber of Commerce • Each business is expected to deliver a minimum of one 10-minute ‘presentation’ each year at their Club, and all businesses deliver a 60-second pitch at every meeting The Club will meet once a fortnight. Cost*. There is an additional cost for the club dependent upon which Chamber membership you hold. Only one representative from a business can attend each session. Across 25 meetings, a no show at three consecutive Clubs will mean that a member has forfeited their right to be part of the Club and will be barred from future Clubs with no refund given. Providing a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded businesses each month, the Big Business @B63 ‘breakfast event’ is hosted by Halesowen College, sponsored by The Halesowen Bid and SAVE THE DATE! powered by The Black Country Chamber of Commerce. It starts at 7.45am, running until 9.15am. See you Third Week Wednesday! Each third week Wednesday, Chamber members, and non-members, meet for a FREE monthly networking session. We’re delighted to be meeting live and face-to-face again at Walsall College in the Littleton Restaurant, Wisemore Campus, Littleton Street West, Walsall, WS2 8ES. Meet at 9.45am for a short introduction from the college before ‘Open Networking’ kicks off through until through until 11.30am. Get involved and raise your business profile via your social media platforms and amplify your attendance by bringing along your smartphones and tablets. Join us on the first tee at the Chamber Golf Day Black Country Chamber Golf day Date: September 21 Time: 10am – 5pm Location: Oxley Park Golf Club, Stafford Road, Bushbury Wolverhampton West Midlands WV10 6DE http://www.oxleyparkgolfclub.co.uk/ Cost: £350+ VAT members £400+ VAT non members (teams of 4) Join us for what will be a fun but challenging day’s golf – with great networking thrown in. We start at 10am for networking and breakfast before a midday shotgun start and a busy day’s competition between 18 teams of four. This will be followed by a two-course dinner and hospitality at Oxley Park. The price includes green fees, free parking, 18 holes of Golf plus the two meals as described. Starting at 8.30am, this online event ensures that Chamber members are kept up to date with goings on at the national level.
