MTSU TEBA Chorale<br />

The MTSU TEBA Chorale began singing together in the Fall of 2019. The ensemble<br />
is open to all university students, staff, and faculty who sing tenor or bass. They<br />
perform two concerts each semester, with a varied repertoire from madrigals to<br />
musical theatre. The ensemble encompasses students from across many majors, with<br />
over half being non-music majors such as audio production, plant and soil science,<br />
and aerospace. They were invited to perform for the Williamson County Men’s Choir<br />
Festival, and they regularly appear in MTSU’s “Joys of the Season” produced by the<br />
College of Liberal Arts.<br />
Cordova High School Concert Singers<br />

The award-winning Concert Singers is the top-performing ensemble at Cordova High<br />
School. “The Singers” are comprised of 10th through 12th grade honor students and<br />
occasionally a few 9th graders who meet the audition and academic requirements;<br />
they must maintain a C average in their classes to perform with this ensemble. Of<br />
this ensemble, 30 of these singers made the All-Southwest Tennessee Senior High<br />
Honor choir. “The Singers” continuously receive superior ratings, best in class, and<br />
overall top ensemble at local and national competitions. In 2018, “The Singers”<br />
reached national acclaim with over 9 million views on Facebook for their musical<br />
tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and have had additional viral videos surpassing<br />
over a million views on both YouTube and Facebook. “The Singers” by invitation have<br />
performed in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Hawaii, and New York at the worldrenowned<br />
Carnegie Hall. This past Spring, “The Singers” were selected to perform<br />
at the 2022 Southern <strong>Conference</strong> of the American Choral Directors Association in<br />
Raleigh, North Carolina. The students continuously graduate with full vocal, choral,<br />
and academic scholarships to institutions of their choices. The Concert Singers are<br />
widely known for their inspiring and moving performances.<br />
