HISTORY
As a versatile professional musician and solo
flutist in various orchestras, Mr. Di Zhao was
keen to build outstanding student flutes in
his workshop, which he founded in Boston
in 2006. Di Zhao himself has mastered every
aspect of flute making and has worked with
many renowned instrument makers.
His profound knowledge of music and craftsmanship
helped to shape the development of
the models. The headjoints, made in Boston,
contribute significantly to the special sound
and the excellent acoustic properties, from
high-quality flutes for beginners to alto, bass
and handmade concert flutes in all price
categories: Di Zhao is a manufacturer with an
excellent selection for every musical taste!
All Di Zhao flutes (except Junior) are equipped
as standard with Pisoni deluxe pads, E-mechanism,
offset G and are delivered including
swab, wooden case and case cover.

JUNIOR
The Di Zhao Junior model is a student
instrument for small hands, specially
designed to meet the requirements of
beginners, with easy response in both
the high and low register.

Children's flute down to D

Entry-level model with closed,

ALTO FLUTE
The Di Zhao alto flutes are especially popular
with advanced players. The three different
versions are always supplied with an additional
curved headjoint.
Excellent response, good intonation, coupled
with a beautiful, multi-faceted tone make them
ideal instruments for flute ensembles.
