This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

My unbreakable city | Міє незламне місто

Kharkiv. Mutilated and partially destroyed, but clean and blooming. Washed with tears for the
fallen civilians and defenders, but supported by the hopes of those who did not go or return,
and the dreams of those who are still waiting to return. Seven months under daily shelling,
but with constant faith in Victory. With daily endless sirens, but symphony concerts in the underground
parking and a Christmas tree in the subway. Cleans the streets and plants flowers
under shelling. Restores broken houses and communications. Virtually empty to the point of
dread in March. Reviving, illuminated by the smiles of youth in January. With smoke from
explosions in a clear blue sky. A city that didn’t get scared and didn’t give up. Which caused
hatred and revenge. But it persevered. Hero city. My such a native, such an unbreakable city.
This Derzhprom building in the very center of the city has become a symbol of Kharkiv’s indomitability.
Since the beginning of the war, I have not left the city, I live with him through all
the shelling and events. The strength and power of my city does not allow me to give up even
when it is very difficult. At the same time, our city is made so invincible by its inhabitants, who
believe in and choose Victory, each in their own place. Recently, this silhouette of Derzhprom
appeared on my arm in the form of a tattoo, as a symbol of the indomitability of Ukraine and
Kharkiv. As a reminder of my strength gained in this war.
