Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War
This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

Про роботу
Картина «Я залишаюсь» є автобіографічною. З початку повномасштабної війни я
кілька разів намагалася виїхати з країни аби відвезти дітей подалі від страшних
подій. Але так ставалось, що кожна спроба закінчувалась для мене лікарнею. На
четвертий раз я покинула спроби, і вирішила залишатись вдома попри логіку,
здоровий глузд і страх за життя моїх дітей.
Психосоматика? Інтуїція? Страх перед невизначеністю?
Думаю, справа точно не в переживаннях перед невідомим, бо я досвідчений
мандрівник, вільно володію англійською і не маю проблем у комунікації з
іноземцями. Вважаю, що питання у чомусь, що глибше, важливіше і поза звичними
матеріальними речами. Мені важко аргументувати логічно, чому так склалось, і ці
переживання і рефлексії я виразила у своїй картині «Я залишаюсь».
На ній я зображую себе таку, яка на якомусь духовному вищому рівні зрослась із
своїм домом, рідною землею. Тому кольори фону наче пронизують усю постать, а
кінцівки, наче коріння, «вростають» в нижню частину полотна.
At current stage of my art life I try different styles, forms and images and on the way
to my certain personal style. It should be mentioned, I am absolutely enjoying this period
of searching the best visual forms to express my own inner self in its interaction
with the surrounding world. y art is represented by two main directions: displaying the
beauty of nature; my personal reflections to some events or thoughts.
To display the beauty in its best, I create floral art, mostly it is about flowers or fruits
from my parents` garden.
На нинішньому етапі мого мистецького життя я пробую різні стилі, форми та
образи та перебуваю на шляху пошуку свого особистого єдиного стилю.
Слід зазначити, що я надзвичайно насолоджуюся цим періодом пошуку найкращих
візуальних форм для вираження власного внутрішнього «я» у його взаємодії з
навколишнім світом.
Моя творчість представлена двома основними напрямками: відображення краси
природи; мої особисті рефлексії на якісь події чи думки. Щоб відобразити красу в
найкращому її вираженні, я використовую флористичні мотиви, здебільшого за
референси беру квіти чи фрукти з батьківського саду.
