Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War
This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

About artwork
I am from Latvia. From a country where people know and appreciate the price of
freedom, especially if your neighbor is russia. I admire and take my hat off to every
Ukrainian who fights for his country and its freedom. That’s why I decided to embroider
the portrait of this person, for whom I feel inexpressible respect and admiration. This
will be my small thank you to Ukraine. He is the president of Ukraine, a husband, a father,
and just a good person. He is Ukrainian and legends will be told about Ukrainians
for many more generations. Glory to Ukraine! Victory will be yours!
Про роботу
Я з Латвії. З країни, де люди знають і цінують ціну свободи, особливо якщо твій сусід
росія. Я захоплююсь і знімаю капелюха перед кожним українцем, який бореться за
свою країну та її свободу. Тому я вирішила вишити портрет цієї людини, до якої
відчуваю невимовну повагу і захоплення. Це буде моя маленька подяка Україні. Він
президент України, чоловік, батько і просто хороша людина. Він українець і про
українців ще багато поколінь розповідатимуть легенди. Слава Україні! Перемога
буде за вами!
I am a full-time thread Painter and embroidery Artist based in Latvia, Europe. I am obsessed
with what I do, and it makes me happy. My works are embroidered ... and that’s
the main feature that sets them apart. They have a lot of gold and colours that make
them rich and luxurious, but I also like the black and white palette. My art is dynamic,
noticeable, and different.
Я Художниця живопису та вишивання на повну ставку, живу в Латвії, Європа. Я
одержима тим, що роблю, і це робить мене щасливою. Мої роботи вишиті ... і це
їх головна особливість. У них багато золота та кольорів, які роблять їх багатими
та розкішними, але мені також подобається чорно-біла палітра. Моє мистецтво
динамічне, помітне, різне.
