Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War

This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

About artwork

At the beginning of the war, I began to paint Ukrainian cities in the image of women.

It was not, at first, a series. I drew what was most confusing and destructive. When the

tears ended, I began to transfer my pain to canvases. The first was the city of Bucha, then

my native Mykolaiv, Boyarka, a town near Kyiv, where the war caught my family and

me... With these works, I tried to pay tribute to people from different cities in Ukraine,

telling my story...

The series of works “Invincible”, dedicated to Ukrainian cities in the image of women

during the war in Ukraine
