Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War
This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

Палаючі російські кораблі прекрасні, як захід сонця. Дивитися це суцільне
задоволення.
Про серіал «Дивлюсь на війну через екран телефону» 2022
Цей серіал про мою внутрішню деформацію, викликану війною в моїй країні.
Мені пощастило пережити війну у відносній безпеці. Але перебуваючи в
інфопросторі, наповненому образами та історіями, я не можу залишатися таким
же. Техніка, яку я використовую в цьому серіалі, не дозволяє робити нічого
заздалегідь задуманого. Але я імпровізую з цифровими викривленнями, я бачу ці
образи, ці фантазії, які змушують мене зробити їх завершеними, інтерпретувати
належним чином і дати їм назви.
The basis of almost all my work is contradictions of varying degrees and forms, internal
conflicts, uncertainty, and ambivalence. In my works, I reflect on the topic of technical
progress, digitalization, mental health, the influence of media on the psyche, relationships
with nature, experiencing the virtual, and so on.
Основою майже всієї моєї роботи є протиріччя різного ступеня і форми, внутрішні
конфлікти, невизначеність, амбівалентність. У своїх роботах я розмірковую про
технічний прогрес, цифровізацію, психічне здоров’я, вплив медіа на психіку,
стосунки з природою, переживання віртуального тощо.
