This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

Before the full-scale invasion, I painted in a completely different manner, highlighting
the problems and questions of today’s Ukrainian youth, who found themselves in the
conditions of post-Soviet stagnation. She took the subject of interpersonal relations, relationships,
fear of the future. She dedicated some works to her hometown - Lysychansk.
After the morning of February 24, something in me died and came back to
life. I don’t know what happened, but my drawing style has changed since
the first work. The lines became heavy, a lot of red color was added, and the
shine in the eyes of the characters of the paintings disappeared completely.
And then the boom began, the first charity exhibition took place in Los Angeles,
later exhibitions were held in Europe and in the cities of Ukraine. Closely
cooperated with “Gareleya.Neotodryosh” with “Center of Joint Actions”.
Unfortunately, the subject of my paintings has not changed at all in the last year - I write
about war. But I dream about the time when it will be relevant to paint pictures about
our victory and reconstruction.
