Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War
This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

Про роботу
З моменту повномасшабного вторгнення моя творчість змінилася в бік важких тем,
а саме війни в Україні. Зараз усі мої ілюстрації пов’язані з війною, адже я візуально
розповідаю людям з усього світу, що зараз переживає моя країна. Ілюстрація “Defender”
на пряму пов’язана з темою війни. Робота показує на скільки сильно зараз
захищають Захисники нашу країну, а також і сусідні країни від ворога-терориста.
Кожного дня Захисники жертувуючи своїм життя бережуть наш сон, дарують нам
новий ранок та дарують можливість працювати.Хочу аби ця робота нагадувала
про Захисників і дарувала віру в перемогу України.
I am an automotive designer by education. At the moment, I work in the field of graphic
design and illustration. Before the war, I was mostly involved in the creation of brand
style. After the full-scale invasion, I switched more to illustration. It became a kind of
calming for me. My style changed, and I started painting purely on the theme of war. In
general, it is quite important for me to talk visually about war because, in this way, I tell
about the experiences of people in my country to a wide audience. Now there are quite
a lot of requests for illustrations on military topics because this topic is now important
all over the world. I take part in various exhibitions, mostly abroad, which talk about
current events.
За освітою я автомобільний дизайнер. На даний момент працюю в сфері графічного
дизайну та ілюстрації. До війни здебільшого займалася створенням брендового
стилю, після повномасштабного вторгнення перейшла більше на ілюстрацію. Це
стало своєрідним зайспокійливим для мене. Моя стилістика змінилася, я почала
малювати суто на тему війни. Загалом для мене говорити візуальним чином про
війну доволі важливо, тому що в такий спосіб я розповідаю про пережите людей в
моїй країні широкій аудиторії. Зараз доволі багато з’явилося запитів на ілюстрацію
про військову тематику, адже ця тема зараз важлива у всьому світі. Приймаю участь
у різних виставках, здебільшого закордоном, які розповідають про теперешні
події.
