Exhibition catalog: Discourse of War
This exhibition is about the impact of the war on the lives and creative paths of artists in Ukraine and worldwide. We want to show how artists’ attitude to art has changed during this year. How changed the vector of their creativity and attitude to the language of art in connection with these events. War has no nationality or religion. War has an impact on everyone individually and on all of humanity in general. Our goal is to show how artists from different parts of the world perceive war. This is an art discourse between artists and viewers.

About artwork
Before the war, my art was very far from social problems and politics. But when the
war started, every time I read the news, I wanted to scream from the pain of my heart,
and for the first time I put my thoughts on paper. No person should see murders, rapes,
tortures, hear explosions overhead and run away from the war to no one knows where...
but children shouldn’t even more so... How will everything seen and experienced be
reflected on these children? For children who survived the war? What future awaits
them? After all, the future of our children is also our future...
Про роботу
До війни моє мистецтво було дуже далеко від соціальних проблем і політики. Але
коли почалася війна, кожного разу, коли я читала новини, мені хотілося кричати від
болю в серці, і вперше я виклала свої думки на папері. Жодна людина не повинна
бачити вбивства, зґвалтування, тортури, чути вибухи над головою і біжати від
війни невідомо куди... але діти не повинні тим більше... Як все побачене і пережите
відобразиться на цих дітях ? На дітей, які пережили війну? Яке майбутнє їх чекає?
Адже майбутнє наших дітей – це і наше майбутнє...
Мене надихає природа та люди, подорожі дають мені нові враження, сили та
ідеї. Вже більше 4 років мені вдається поєднувати дві мої пристрасті - живопис та
подорожі.
Коли я малюю портрети, пейзажі чи рослини, мені здається, що я показую
застиглий Час.
Кожна моя робота – це можливість для мене подумки повернутися в це вже інше
місце, простір і знову відчути пережиті почуття. Кожен мій ескіз чи картина
дозволяють мені побачити те, що вже зникло або стало іншим.
