Time to sharpen up, acquire skills
and be privy to a chef’s best-kept
secrets. Learn to choose the right
knife for the job at hand, how to look
after, as well as sharpen your knives.
Lindi will also show you how to fillet
fish, de-bone a leg of lamb and how
to expertly carve the joint.
Practise different chopping
techniques and turn the ingredients
into a delicious meal which you
will all sit down and enjoy for lunch.
All ingredients will be provided.
You are welcome to bring your own
knives to be sharpened by
a professional knife-sharpener
at a small extra fee.
By popular request Leanne and
Peter of Photowalkers are back with
a workshop for people who would
like to take better photographs
with their cellphones.
At the start of the workshop
participants will be shown how
to set up their phone, followed by
a slide-show to explain ‘light’.
The rest of the workshop takes
the form of a guided walkabout.
Join Bevil for a drumming workshop
that will stimulate your creativity,
reduce your stress levels and enhance
your mood. Drumming has also
been shown to build confidence and
develp hand-eye coordination, but
above all else it is cool ... and fun!
Drumming together has many
