of us know how to fake it to some extent.

Whether or not we’re aware that

the length of our strides and the

amount of time we spend talking and

smiling mark us as introverts and extroverts,

we know it unconsciously.

Still, there’s a limit to how much we

can control our self-presentation. This

is partly because of a phenomenon

called behavioral leakage, in which our

true selves seep out via unconscious

body language: a subtle look away at a
