Lava stone
Artistic Italian lava stones for table tops. Handmade with double glazing. Each tile
and table top is unique and no two look alike. The lava stone is a natural material
and small imperfections, such as colour and spots are to be expected.
Ceramic
The ceramic tops are made of porcelain, which is an extremely strong material that can
be left outdoors all year round. They are made using natural materials, so there may be
small variations in colours between the tops.
Cast Iron
Cast iron from Cane-line is composed of alloy of iron, carbon and silicon, which together
provide a material particularly suitable for products that require great strength and heat
resistance. Continuous maintenance is important, as otherwise over time, you will see
rust formation on the surface in the places where the paint has been scratched and worn.
Make sure to regularly remove ash from the fire pit, wash it off in clean water and dry it
thoroughly when the items are cold. The product gets hot during use, so do not touch the
product without gloves that can withstand the heat, and be aware of local legislation
regarding the use of fire pits. Use of the fire pit is at your own risk (both to yourself and
others).
HPL / high pressure laminate
Compact laminate is a very suitable material for outdoor use. The material is
resin-impregnated paper, compressed under very high pressure creating a strong top
with a scratch-resistant surface. These table tops require basically no maintenance and
can remain outdoors all year round. Compact laminate will naturally fade slightly at the
edges over time. In order to maintain the deep black colour, the edges can be re-freshed
up by rubbing a little linseed oil on them. It is recommended that you cover the table with
a furniture cover in the autumn and winter period.
Cane-line HI-Core
Cane-line "Hi-Core" Stone is an innovative and durable Hi-tech composite core material
developed specially for all weather outdoor use. The components are mainly acrylic,
which gives high durability and abrasion resistance.
Cane-line HI-Core has an elegant smooth and soft surface that rejects moisture, dirt and
bacteria. We recommend that you cover the table with a furniture cover during the
autumn and winter period.
