Discover Qatar unveils
three new transit tours
Discover Qatar, the country’s
destination management
company, has launched three
new transit tours for travelers
passing through Hamad International
Airport. The tours aim to provide
passengers with an immersive experience
of Qatari culture, heritage, and history
during their layover. The tours include
a city tour of Doha, a cultural tour of
Al Zubarah, and an adventure tour of
Khor Al Adaid. Each tour is led by a
local guide and includes transportation,
refreshments, and a complimentary visa.
The tours range from four to six hours
and are suitable for all ages. The new
transit tours aim to encourage visitors
to explore Qatar beyond the airport and
boost the country’s tourism industry.

long-awaited public transport buses
are set to launch in March. The Riyadh
Development Authority announced that
the first batch of buses will operate on
12 routes across the city, with more
routes to be added in the future. The
new buses are expected to help reduce
traffic congestion, improve air quality,
and make commuting more affordable
for residents. This initiative is a
significant step towards modernizing

UAE Residents Can Enjoy
Complimentary Tickets
to Hong Kong
In an effort to boost tourism, the Hong
Kong Tourism Board has announced
an exciting offer for UAE residents.
Starting from February 22, 2023,
UAE residents can fly to Hong Kong, or
back to the UAE, with complimentary
tickets. The initiative, dubbed “Fly for
Free,” aims to encourage more visitors
from the UAE to travel to Hong Kong
and experience its vibrant culture and
attractions. The offer is valid for a limited
time and subject to terms and conditions.
The Hong Kong Tourism Board hopes
that this promotion will inspire travelers
to explore the dynamic city and support
its hospitality and tourism industries.
