Belgium<br />

Peter Terr<strong>in</strong> is an artist from Belgium who has always been<br />

drawn to art. There were no def<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g or pivotal moments that<br />

determ<strong>in</strong>ed the course of his life. His need to pa<strong>in</strong>t has always<br />

been as vital as breath<strong>in</strong>g and eat<strong>in</strong>g; provid<strong>in</strong>g the necessary fuel<br />

for the m<strong>in</strong>d and soul. His passion for people was re<strong>in</strong>forced through years<br />

of travel after graduat<strong>in</strong>g from Textile Design School <strong>in</strong> Belgium. He blends<br />

several artistic<br />

styles and <strong>in</strong>corporates different ideas to<br />

produce<br />

someth<strong>in</strong>g more than just a portrait.<br />

Mexico’s<br />

amaz<strong>in</strong>g blend of th<strong>in</strong>gs drives him<br />

<strong>in</strong>sane; the<br />

way they live, their customs, their cuis<strong>in</strong>e,<br />

their family<br />

values, their music, and the spectacular<br />

brilliant<br />

colors with which they pa<strong>in</strong>t their homes.<br />

to sum up this subject <strong>in</strong> a s<strong>in</strong>gle l<strong>in</strong>e,<br />

answer, “Mexico gave me colors.” Peter<br />

uses his unique style to capture emotion,<br />

mood and feel<strong>in</strong>g through pallet knives and<br />

acrylic pa<strong>in</strong>t on large-scale canvas. To<br />

keep th<strong>in</strong>gs excit<strong>in</strong>g for himself, he<br />

changes his style every 2 to 3 years.<br />

He supposes his style can be classified<br />

as a modern form of expressionism.<br />

This dist<strong>in</strong>ctive pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g style gives<br />

his work a lively expression. His past<br />
