Labiba Ferhat is an optometrist turned artist from Algeria, currently based <strong>in</strong> Ajman, U.A.E. Her passion for art began dur<strong>in</strong>g the Covid pandemic,<br />
and s<strong>in</strong>ce then, Labiba has been creat<strong>in</strong>g impressionist pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs that express people’s tales, emotions, and sensitivities. As a self-taught artist,<br />
Labiba’s work is known for its ability to tell a story that is easy to comprehend. She uses various mediums and techniques to create her pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs,<br />
and her work has been exhibited <strong>in</strong> prestigious galleries across the world, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g Mumbai, India, and Paris, France.<br />
Labiba’s first solo exhibition titled “The Dance of Colors” took place <strong>in</strong> Dubai <strong>in</strong> November 2022. She was appo<strong>in</strong>ted as the art ambassador of Algeria<br />
for the Gu<strong>in</strong>ness World Records 2022, where she was <strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> the “Most nationalities <strong>in</strong> an art lesson” challenge. Labiba has been awarded twice for<br />
her performance <strong>in</strong> art, which showcases her dedication and hard work towards her passion.<br />
Labiba takes <strong>in</strong>spiration from her mother, a famous and talented artist, and follows <strong>in</strong> her footsteps. Her art is not only visually appeal<strong>in</strong>g but<br />
also conveys a message, mak<strong>in</strong>g her work stand out <strong>in</strong> a crowd of artists. Labiba is an excellent example of how hard work, dedication, and<br />
passion can lead to success and recognition <strong>in</strong> any field.<br />
“I create and compose through color, curve, form and light with the desire of br<strong>in</strong>g<strong>in</strong>g to life what I see to make this moment immortal<br />
