Igor Dubovoy<br />

Russia<br />

Igor Dubovoy is an experienced artist from Russia whose pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs have<br />

been featured <strong>in</strong> solo and group exhibitions <strong>in</strong>ternationally. Inspired<br />

<strong>by</strong> his travels, Dubovoy pa<strong>in</strong>ts city scenes and landscapes <strong>in</strong> oil and<br />

watercolor on canvas. “I love to travel and, <strong>in</strong> my works, I reflect the<br />

beauty of the world around us” says Igor.<br />

The artist was born <strong>in</strong> 1972, Moscow, the capital of Russia. He still lives and<br />

works there. His pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs are characterized <strong>by</strong> the presence of light and<br />

their realist quality, transport<strong>in</strong>g the viewer to different parts of the world. “I<br />

have no special education <strong>in</strong> Art, but it does not prevent me from lov<strong>in</strong>g art”<br />

says Igor.<br />

A great number of his pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs have scattered around<br />

the world and settled <strong>in</strong> private collections <strong>in</strong> England,<br />

America, Australia and Europe. Igor has participated <strong>in</strong><br />

various exhibitions <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g 2018 Art Life <strong>in</strong>ternational<br />

Art Festival Moscow and 2018 Exhibition <strong>in</strong> Museum of<br />

Russian Art. NY. USA. After the International Exhibition<br />

of Watercolors <strong>in</strong> Fabriano, Italy, his work<br />

was selected for the Fabriano Watercolor<br />

Museum.<br />

In the artist’s op<strong>in</strong>ion the attitude to<br />

watercolor pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g, has immensely<br />

changed recently. Igor uses special<br />

watercolor paper of lead<strong>in</strong>g<br />

European manufacturers<br />

for his works. The artist<br />

depicts the world around us<br />

<strong>in</strong> an exceptionally beautiful<br />

manner with his artworks that<br />

are usually oil pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g or<br />

watercolours.
