Fazel Shams<br />
Iran<br />
Fazel Shams is an Iranian calligraphic artist. The artist says “I<br />
discovered Calligraphy as my talent and followed that very<br />
strictly to manifest proper artworks <strong>in</strong> the middle age.” He<br />
says after grow<strong>in</strong>g up struggl<strong>in</strong>g with his other secret talents,<br />
Calligraphy has always had a higher po<strong>in</strong>t, so Fazel determ<strong>in</strong>ed to start<br />
the journey <strong>in</strong> 2018 as a professional Calligrapher. It is <strong>in</strong>terest<strong>in</strong>g to<br />
know that the artist hasn’t even had a s<strong>in</strong>gle course or coach<strong>in</strong>g related to<br />
this art. “Whatever I learned until today is the result of my self-study<strong>in</strong>g<br />
besides hard practis<strong>in</strong>g,” says the artist. After<br />
provid<strong>in</strong>g quite professional art pieces among<br />
art lovers both <strong>in</strong>side and outside of Iran,<br />
Fazel had the golden opportunity to exhibit<br />
his artworks <strong>in</strong> Nicolas Flamel’s gallery<br />
<strong>in</strong> Paris which was a great success. “For<br />
the first time, I produced an artwork for<br />
the face of Rolex as well as Patek Philippe<br />
watches, which can be considered as a<br />
bold activity <strong>in</strong> Iran,” says Fazel who also<br />
owns a permanent exhibition from the<br />
beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g, which is why he doesn’t<br />
participate <strong>in</strong> art exhibitions. His<br />
works are well-known both <strong>in</strong><br />
Iran and <strong>in</strong>ternationally.<br />
