Dr. Ajit Gadekar is an Indian artist<br />
who currently resides <strong>in</strong> the UAE.<br />
He is the head of the division of<br />
neonatology, but he also has a<br />
remarkable talent for landscape pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs<br />
<strong>in</strong> oil medium. Despite hav<strong>in</strong>g no prior<br />
experience <strong>in</strong> art, Dr. Gadekar accidentally<br />
discovered canvas pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> 2019 while<br />
explor<strong>in</strong>g digital art and has s<strong>in</strong>ce achieved<br />
remarkable success <strong>in</strong> just a few years.<br />

His love for nature and its beauty is reflected <strong>in</strong> his pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs, which are a unique comb<strong>in</strong>ation of realism and a pa<strong>in</strong>terly quality. Dr.<br />
Gadekar spends several days work<strong>in</strong>g on each piece, carefully layer<strong>in</strong>g the pa<strong>in</strong>t to create depth and a sense of three-dimensionality on a<br />
two-dimensional surface. His ultimate goal is to achieve a level of realism that captures the illusion of light, atmosphere, and perspective <strong>in</strong><br />
the natural world.<br />
Dr. Gadekar’s success <strong>in</strong> the art world is especially notable given his demand<strong>in</strong>g profession as a neonatologist. However, he has found a<br />
way to balance his medical work with his artistic pursuits, demonstrat<strong>in</strong>g that it is possible to make time for what matters most.<br />
His pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>gs have been showcased at prestigious events such as the World Art Dubai exhibition, The Hotel show held at Dubai WTC, and<br />
the Artoze Art competition held <strong>in</strong> Ajman, UAE, where he won the Best Technique award <strong>in</strong> 2021. Dr. Gadekar has also participated <strong>in</strong> various<br />
live pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g events, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the “Wall of the Creatives” at INDEX show 2022 at Dubai World Trade Centre and a live pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g event at the<br />
Consulate General of India <strong>in</strong> Dubai <strong>in</strong> August 2022.<br />
