Bathmawathy is a self-taught 19 years old wildlife artist from<br />
Coimbatore, India. Dur<strong>in</strong>g the Covid outbreak, she found her<br />
passion for art and specializes <strong>in</strong> oil pa<strong>in</strong>t, acrylic pa<strong>in</strong>t, res<strong>in</strong>,<br />
pastels, charcoal, and gold leaf. Bathmawathy creates art to raise<br />
awareness about the importance of preserv<strong>in</strong>g wildlife<br />
and their habitats, captur<strong>in</strong>g the emotion of each<br />
creature through their eyes. She has won numerous<br />
awards for her artwork, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the Gold Medal<br />
Award <strong>in</strong> the FAG International art competition,<br />
Bronze Award <strong>in</strong> the Camelback gallery ‘Into the<br />
Wild’ competition, and the Special Recognition<br />
Award <strong>in</strong> the Light Space Time ‘11th Nature’ Art<br />
Competition, among others. Bathmawathy has also<br />
been featured <strong>in</strong> the Top 100 artists worldwide <strong>in</strong><br />
the Hashtag Kalakar Art Competition. Bathmawathy<br />
believes that animals are often neglected and hunted<br />
down for their parts or lose their homes due<br />
to human <strong>in</strong>terference and negligence.<br />
Through her art, she br<strong>in</strong>gs these<br />
creatures to life on the canvas,<br />
demonstrat<strong>in</strong>g their beauty and<br />
importance to the world.<br />

<strong>by</strong> wildlife and chose to become<br />
a Wildlife artist to create<br />
awareness about these amaz<strong>in</strong>g<br />
be<strong>in</strong>gs,” says Bathmawathy
