Rafael Antonio Fonseca Acevedo was born <strong>in</strong> Bogotá, Colombia<br />
on May 17 <strong>in</strong> 1988. He is a truly exceptional hyperrealist artist.<br />
At an early age, he showed an <strong>in</strong>terest <strong>in</strong> draw<strong>in</strong>g, where he<br />
explored various techniques and materials, especially graphite.<br />
In his last years of Architecture, he decided to return to his passion for<br />
draw<strong>in</strong>g and art, thus discover<strong>in</strong>g a revolutionary pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g tool, the art of<br />
the airbrush. He decided to dedicate himself fully to acrylic and the art of<br />
airbrush pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
He was <strong>in</strong>cl<strong>in</strong>ed <strong>by</strong> hyperrealism, thus<br />
beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g to develop as the ma<strong>in</strong> theme<br />
<strong>in</strong> his works, portrait, giv<strong>in</strong>g high value<br />
to the connection of the gaze between<br />
liv<strong>in</strong>g be<strong>in</strong>gs us<strong>in</strong>g his airbrush as the<br />
ma<strong>in</strong> tool and other mixed techniques.<br />
He tra<strong>in</strong>ed as a self-taught artist of<br />
airbrush pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g, develop<strong>in</strong>g his<br />
artistic proposals and its deterioration<br />
through human history, with a touch of<br />
Magical Realism and critical perspective.<br />
He seeks to captivate the viewer through<br />
his meticulous pa<strong>in</strong>t<strong>in</strong>g technique. He does<br />
not believe <strong>in</strong> just captur<strong>in</strong>g a snapshot<br />
<strong>in</strong> time but tak<strong>in</strong>g the viewer <strong>in</strong>to a<br />
visual journey that stirs the senses<br />
