The Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja GRA Project
Oyo State, home to about 10 million people and Ibadan being the 3rd largest city in West
Africa, has been experiencing immense growth and expansion in recent times. The city
is historically the seat of government dating back to the Western Region with several
other peculiar factors making her interesting and a great prospect for real estate
investments.
The Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja GRA is a proposed residential development
situated along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, on the outskirts of the city of Ibadan, Oyo
State. The GRA is designed to accomodate 584 serviced plots within a gated community
with green areas, roads, adequate security, and provision of the water treatment plant,
power, street lighting, roads and drainage infrastructure.
Senator Rashidi Ladoja GRA is a regeneration development project aimed at facilitating
rapid urbanization of the expanse of land adjoining the Lagos - Ibadan expressway and
providing citizens of the State with affordable housing fitted with the necessary
infrastructure and amenities to serve the new community.
The development objective is to contribute to the vision of the Oyo State Government for
the provision of affordable and durable, eco-friendly and urban residential developments
for citizens residents of Oyo State.
The project is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) collaboration between the Oyo State
Government and First Investment Development Company essentially for the provision
of site and services for infrastructure development. The comprehensive vision for
Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja GRA is "to design, develop and deliver quality and
durable infrastructure that accelerate urbanization, optimization, optimize land
use and maximize the market value of land with increasing returns".
