In sar, the state is gradually experiencing an
irasrre reolution correcting the glaring eii,
improving access, and laying the foundation for aeerae
development across the eire state.
With the current portfolio of about 500 kms of highways
in 31 Infrastructure Development Projects either completed
or underway focused at linking the 5 geopolitical zones and
food basket of the state and another 163.75 – 273.75 kms
in about 25 - 35 projects planned from 2023 targeting key
areas contributing to the desired expanded economy.
The Ministry of ublic Works & Transport will continue to
further deepen professionalism, competence and capability
to ensure quality control and assurance while working
together in concert with all Internal & External stakeholders
to judiciously use existing and new resources, meet
expectation of increased spending, improved budget
performance and effective overall project delivery to ensure
delivery on the promises and the vision of Your Excellency
