Oyo State Compendium of Infrastructure Delivery Projects 2019 - 2023

Vol 1 Compiled by Engr Seyi Adeleye, MNSE
Preamble ne of my proudest moments - is when Owe commissioned the 65 km Moniya- Iseyin road in 2021, and His Excellency brought his colleague, The Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom to come and commission the project for us, I was happy because I was part of the history that completed the project. What I like about working with Governor Seyi Makinde is - He is a believer in Data, and so for me being a statistician, who has been working with data my entire life, oer 36 years to be precise. This is a great thing. Governor Seyi Makinde is somebody who believes you must work with data to have what I call evidence based decision making. You cannot miss the mark because with reliable data, the error margin reduces to between 0-5%. So I like his style and really enjoy working with him, because he believes science must speak from the data, and data must inform the logic to drive implementation. His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE is an astute professional Engineer who realizes that without data you cannot do anything tangibly or sustainably.
