BRIEF DESCRIPTION
of the PROJECT
The 9.7km Saki Township Road was
ofcially commissioned Thursday
27th January, 2022 by the Executive
Governor of Adamawa State. Alhaji
Umaru Fintiri in a ceremony hosted by
the Executive Governor of Oyo State
Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE
The whole of Saki Township was agog
with celebration on Thursday
morning, as the teeming masses
welcome the Governor’s entourage
at Km. 0.0 at about 10:50am.
The Governor inspected a guard
mounted by the Command Secondary
School and then proceeded to the
venue through the midst of excited
School Children and teeming masses.
A welcome to Saki message was
delivered by the Chief Justice of Oyo
State Hon. Justice Muktar Abimbola,
who alose used the opportunity to give
a brief history of Saki and how the name
was given.
The welcome to the commissioning
was given by the Honourable
Commissioner for Works, Professor
Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin, who
used the opportunity to give details of
the project.
Goodwill message on behalf of the
good people of Saki was delivered by
HRM Oba Kahlid Oyeniyi, in which he
c o n v e y e d t h e c o n f e r m e n t o f
Chieftaincy titles on the governor and
wife.
