fascinating; it is also an inspiring look at the future of
fashion.
Runway models who included Olympic gold champion
in freestyle skiing, 18-year-old Eileen Gu, morphed into
bold, futuristic warrior women with each new, fashionforward
outfit.
It is evident that the French brand’s designer Nicolas
Ghesquière understands the growing importance of
making women feel confident and empowered in all
facets of their lives, including what they wear.
He explores the contrast between structural
constructions and fluid draping, as well as the contrast
between technology and the earth, by using looks that
recall a desert atmosphere and metal tones that reflect
the sun’s rays.
