TROPICANA AMAN SPREADS FESTIVE CHEER TO
UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN

Tropicana Aman, the largest 863-acre township by Tropicana
Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”) in Kota Kemuning, recently
spread festive cheer to 50 underprivileged children with a hearty
luncheon. The holiday treat, which included games with prizes,
sing-alongs as well as arts & crafts workshops, was organised in
support of Tropicana Foundation’s humanitarian mission as the
charity arm of Tropicana.
Participating homes included the House of Love, Rumah Ozanam
Klang and Rumah Kanak-Kanak Impian. Tropicana held the event
to spread festive cheer to those in need, in line with the New Year
as a time of hope and renewal as well as the Group’s role as a
community builder. The charitable initiative also supports Tropicana
Foundation’s continuing focus on Redefining the Art of Caring.
The festive occasion kicked off with a hearty luncheon with the
children enjoying chicken and seafood pasta, followed by a lively
Q&A and Simon Says game session with emcee Kay Chat for
prizes such as chocolates. In addition, workshops by 7th Tone
Creative helped them craft their own festive keepsakes. The day
was rounded out by an energetic sing-along session led by the
Dithyrambic Singers with seasonal classics to lift the spirits, after
which the children were presented with gifts according to their
wishlists, including sports shoes, thermos bottles, toys and more.

new year, we welcome any aid from corporates and the public as
schools reopen,” said Dr Joseph Pang, Founder, House of Love.
Tropicana’s social outreach to underprivileged segments is
part of its sustainable approach to environmental, social and
corporate governance (“ESG”) principles. Since its inception in
2011, Tropicana Foundation has channelled over RM23 million to
charitable causes across Malaysia.
