In conjunction with the Year of the Water Rabbit, Tropicana recently
held a blessing ceremony and lion dance performance by the University
of Malaya Lion Dance Troupe at Tropicana Gardens Office Tower on 1
February 2023 or Lunar 11th.
The lions arrived to usher in prosperity and wealth and began the
ceremony by offering prayers in the basement.
Soon after, the thunderous sounds of beating drums, cymbals clashing
together, and the deep tones of the gong reverberated through the office
tower, marking the arrival of the lions to the office premises.
Watched keenly by staff and heads of departments as well as senior
management, the lions began to shower their blessings on Floor 12 at
the Experiential Hall before moving to the Marketing & Sales Department,
Floor 13 at Corporate Reception, and on to Floor 10 at the Property
Showroom. The lions then made their way up to Floor 20 for a blessing
ceremony on the Vice Chairman and Directors’ office.
The performance moved to the Centre Court and West Walk before making
their way to the Chief Management Office to shower more blessings.
