Continuo Presente

corpo, interi mondi diventati città e pianeti dai cieli rosso ciliegia;

luoghi immaginifici e tempi sospesi “rubati” dall’installazione visiva

e sonora “Across the Universe into a Paper Cup” realizzata per la

claustrofobiche o sconfinate città-tempo, mondi

contemporanea.

Four contemporary dancers inhabit, with the power of their bodies,

entire worlds turned into cities and planets of cherry red skies; a

world of imaginary places and suspended times “stolen” from the

visual and sound installation entitled Across the Universe into a

Paper Cup, created for the facade of Teatro India in Rome during

IF/Invasion from the Future, a multidisciplinary project dedicated

to science fiction. Stories narrated through images invoking a

Universe inspired by Ballard’s stories: singing flowers and disrupting

bug women, claustrophobic cities inside apartment buildings or

boundless time-space cities, worlds inhabited by a metamorphic

creature and galactic dizziness due to unlimited time. Each story -

expanded in space and as a sounding element - dives into a system of

layers of sounds flowing into the electronics of the most interesting

contemporary production.
