ACTIONS (MSCA) DOCTORAL
NETWORK: APPROVATO IL
PROGETTO “IN-NOVA”
L’Agenzia Europea esecutiva
per la ricerca ha firmato
l’accordo di finanziamento
del progetto “IN-NOVA”, per
la riduzione attiva del rumore
trasmesso a e da recinzioni
attraverso strutture a incapsulamento.
Il Consorzio,
coordinato dal prof. Marek
Pawelczyk (Silesian University
of Technology), comprenderà
il prof. Hamid Reza
Karimi e il prof. Francesco
Ripamonti del Dipartimento
di Meccanica. L’obiettivo generale
di IN-NOVA è quello di
fornire una formazione di alto
livello per 10 dottorandi (DC) e
3 finanziati dal Regno Unito,
in un’ampia varietà di tecnologie
di controllo del rumore
all’avanguardia. I DC beneficeranno
di un programma di
formazione unico sulle competenze
trasversali che darà
il via alle loro carriere come
professionisti altamente occupabili

The European Research Executive
Agency (REA) signed
the Grant agreement of the
project “IN-NOVA”, for the
active reduction of noise
transmitted into and from
enclosures through encapsulated
structures. The Consortium,
coordinated by prof.
Marek Pawelczyk (Silesian
University of Technology),
will include prof. Hamid Reza
Karimi and prof. Francesco
Ripamonti from our DMEC.
The overarching aim of
IN-NOVA is to provide a
top-level training for 10 Doctoral
Candidates (DC) - MSCA
Fellows plus 3 DCs funded
by UK, in a wide variety of
cutting-edge noise control
technologies. The DCs
will benefit from a unique
soft-skills training programme
that will kick-start their
careers as highly employable
professionals.

Dal 4 al 9 Luglio 2022 il team
@Physis PEB ha partecipato
alla competizione Monaco
Energy Boat Challenge,
ospitato dallo Yacht Club di
Monaco. Congratulazioni agli
studenti – più di 70 – membri
del team e un sentito grazie
ai Professori e dei laboratori
del Politecnico di Milano
(DMEC; DENG) e agli sponsor
per il supporto offerto al neonato
team.

Between July 4th and 9th
Physis PEB team competed
at the Monaco Energy Boat
Challenge, hosted by Yacht
Club de Monaco. Many compliments
to the over 70 students
that were involved in
the Team, thanks to all DMEC
and DENG Polimi professors
and Labs that supported the
Team and thanks also to all

Porte aperte al Dipartimento
di Meccanica lo scorso 25
maggio per accogliere i nostri
ex studenti in occasione
del primo Alumni Mechanical
Forum. Una giornata
dedicata alla scoperta e alla
ri-scoperta del campus La
Masa, con i suoi spazi e i suoi
laboratori, che si è conclusa
con la condivisione di idee e
visioni in merito a didattica,
ricerca, lavoro e territorio.
Ringraziamo Rosalba Reggio,

per aver moderato l’evento e
il Rettore Ferruccio Resta, il
direttore Marco Bocciolone,

The Department of Mechanical
Engineering welcomed its
former students on May 25th
on the occasion of the first
Alumni Mechanical Forum.
An entire day dedicated to discovering
and re-discovering
the La Masa campus, with its
spaces and labs. The event
ended with a round table
where ideas and visions got
shared concerning teaching
and research activities, jobs
and local reality. Thanks to
Rosalba Reggio, sole24ore
reporter, for hosting the
event and the Rector Ferruccio
Resta, the Head of the
Department MarcoBocciolone,
Lucia Chierchia and Marco
Fainiello, advisory board
members.

SECONDI POSTI NELLA CA-
TEGORIA A GUIDA AUTONO-

Dynamis PRC centra ancora
il bersaglio! Il team
studentesco del Politecnico
di Milano ha vinto
due medaglie d’argento in
due delle più prestigiose
e importanti competizioni
di Formula Student. Sia a
Budapest (Ungheria) sia ad
Hockenheim (Germania), il
team ha gareggiato per la
Driverless Cup raggiungendo
un grandioso secondo
posto nella classifica generale.
Nonostante l’incapacità
di portare a termine i test
al fine di rimanere competitivi
anche per la Electric
Cup, il team ha dimostrato
grande resilienza confermandosi
uno dei migliori al
mondo. Un ringraziamento
speciale ai Professori e agli
sponsor che hanno supportato
e creduto nei nostri
studenti e nel loro progetto.
Bravi ragazzi! Un grandissimo
in bocca al lupo per
quello che verrà!

AUTONOMOUS CATEGORY.
Dynamis PRC scores again!
The Politecnico di Milano
student team won the silver
medal in two of the most
important and prestigious
international Formula student
competitions. Both
in Budapest (Hungary) and
Hockenheim (Germany), the
team competed in the Driverless
Cup and won two
spectacular second places
overall. Even though unable
to complete the tests to be
competitive in the Electric
Cup, our team proved resilient
and one of the best
in the world. Thanks to all
Professors and sponsors
who believed in and supported
our students and their
project.
Well done, Dynamis! Best of
luck with what is yet to come!
