Corn is a fast-growing crop. After harvesting the primary<br />
crop, maize, leaves and stems remain as a residual product.<br />
Historically, this waste product would have been incinerated.<br />
With new production methods, this waste is now used as a raw<br />
material for sustainable and environmentally friendly products.<br />
The starch from the fast-growing maize plant serves as the basis<br />
for bio-plastic, also known as PLA. It is 100% biodegradable, 100%<br />
industrially compostable and CO2 neutral. With products that<br />
basically consist of corn, you are investing in a strong eco-gift.<br />

Reusable poncho made from waste from corn production:<br />
4% PLA, 60% PBAT and 36% cornstarch. This poncho is<br />
much more durable in production than plastic ponchos. In<br />

compostable. Packed in a slip sleeve of the same material.<br />
